Don’t Blame Men, Blame the Bikini
Thu, 19 Jun 2008 08:32:16 PDT
Okay, this article pissed me the fuck off. “Science proves that bikinis turn men into boobs.” I know that the media has a way of misreporting scientific studies to their own means, so I’m not bashing on the study — I am directing my rage at the article. Now, the original assessment is that images of “sexy” women cause men to make poor decisions, like buy a product they wouldn’t otherwise buy. In each test, the researchers offered the men the choice between being paid 15 euros immediately or b

I’ve already noted some of our early video work, mainly using the Flip cam. I LOVE chocolate martinis. I enjoyed just such a beverage last night and it was YUMMY. Last night a bunch of ladies from my mommies group got together for libations and conversation. There were about 15 of us at a local restaurant and it was a lot of fun. It was a nice opportunity to actually talk to some of the mommies (since my last mommies night out was at that 80s club which wasn’t exactly conducive to conversation). I look forward to hanging out with them again. I went home and decided to

Hulu Days of Summer Filed by Mari Silbey under Industry, Movies, Video Jun 19 2008 Whether or not you believe Hulu can “kick YouTube’s ass,” the folks behind the Web video venture are certainly doing more than a few things right. I got hooked on Hulu when it was still in beta, checking out a few 30 Rock episodes and some of the Scrubs shows I’d missed. But I admit my usage of the site has fallen off. (Largely because when I’m on my computer I get too distracted by all things work.) Now H
