You know what's strange? There are a lot of differences between writing regular English, like novels, and news style for journalism, such as in newspapers (well, considering the media is of the English language, anyway... otherwise, there'd be a wealth of differences...). It's something that trips up a lot of people used to one way or the other.

The BBC, CNN, CBC Newsworld and other all-news broadcasters covered scarcely anything but the narrowly averted catastrophe throughout the day. Funny thing, but the general public wasn't buying it. Obviously I can’t possibly keep the promise I make in the title, but with all the end of week hyperbole being bandied in the name of Twitter-bashing, I couldn’t say something else reasonable like “Twitter is still having problems,” and “A Few A-Listers Are Still Upset About Twitter.” All of this seems to stem from the fact that the replies tab has been disengaged for going on a week now.
